hello, the steiner snowblower is one of the best attachments tjat steiner has. It will blow snow up to about 50' away. It is also a heavy attachment that gives the tractor extra traction. The snow blower lists for $2650.00 and the small tractor lists for about $8800.00 with a 20hp onan gas engine.

Need tractor for snowblowing only - NH TC18 or Steiner or Help

I don't think that there is any power trac's close to me. The only thing that would scare me is that who is a dealer for these? I heard from a JD dealer that they don't set up dealers like most other tractor manufactures do. What about parts and service? The warranty does not cover hose's, batteries,belts and wheel motors!!! These are things that go first. Stick with a Steiner or a ventrac. The same mower deck that steiner built 20 some years ago will fit the new tractors today or ventrac. Also look at the trade in value on all three.

The steiner owners are not sleeping ether. With as much rain and moisture we have had to mow everything almost twice a week. We have a stump grinder for our steiners now. We bought it used. Works like 2000 beavers on the end of a stick. It takes awhile to get used to. Does ventrac have a mirror on the stump grinder so you can see what your grinding? The steiner rough cut mower works very well also. It will require atleast 4 weights on the rear cause I beleive it weighs over 500lbs. The steiner 410 just came out with 20hp in the homeowner tractor. I think this tractor with a 5' deck and weight bar is around $11,000.00 list, not bad for 4x4 with 60" up front mower. Our dealer also says that the 525 got a bigger horse under the hood[28hp kubota]. He says that it is a big difference in power then from before. Also the 430 got a new hand control that is much easier to use. Still looking for used steiner equipment in any kind of shape.

Is the operation of the ventrac easier with the hand control or foot control? I would think that you could get your foot pinched if tractor was rolling over rough ground with the foot control. Is the hand control on the ventrac everything you guys thought it was over the steiner? Have used edger for steiner in fair shape for sale.

We use our steiner like a bulldozer. I have impressed more people with my steiner then you can imagine. They don't understand how a little tractor has so much power and can do so many things. Where did you buy your ventrac?

Try out Steiner turf equipment also in Dalton Ohio, manufacturers of the the 25 year old turf tractor that will out perform any other tractor that size with about 30 different attachments that will hook up in less than 1 min. We have had steiners for the last fifteen years and they can't be beat. Hillside mowing is one of the steiners best jobs that can be done very easy and you feel safe. They also have powerbox rakes and terra rakes availableany many other attachments that you could use to do the job.I LOVE MY STEINER.

Hi KIM, have you checked out steiner 4 wheel drive tractors. They go great in wet area's and don't leave alot of marks in mud. Very easy to hook up tiller or mower with no tools. The info on there co. can be found on the net and # 330-828-0200 give them a try. Hope you find something.

I really don't now the difference but I hear alot about aerway and how they hold up. I ran into a rep for aerway in PA and here is there # 800-228-8032 maybe they can shed light on aerway for you.

Have you ever heard of steiner, the other red machine. Check one out before you spend all your pennies. This machine is in a ball game all to it's self. Yes they can be a little on the higher dollar side but, you get your money worth.

BUY STEINER!!! The tractor with four different motor options and over 30 different attachments. Most all attachments are on the front and you can change from blade to mower in less than 1 MINUTE. Before you buy check out STEINER TURF in Dalton Ohio. I think there #330 828 0200. I'm very happy with mine.
